6 Ideas to Accelerate Innovative Capacity of Manufacturing in America and Rhode Island

Professor Bernie Carlson of the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Society, and John Riendeau, Business Development Director of CommerceRI, will team up to give us their perspective on what is needed to allow the United States to compete on the global stage and what Rhode Island must do locally.

Dr. Carlson will present the findings of the Milstein Commission, which looked at manufacturing/exports at the national level and made recommendations to change the infrastructure to forge a more manufacturing friendly environment.

John Riendeau from CommerceRI will respond with a Rhode Island perspective.

This should be an exciting forum on a topic that affects us all.
