We are thrilled to have David Kertzer, join us to talk about his Pulitzer Prize winning book "The Pope and Mussolini: The Secret History of Pius XI and the Rise of Fascism in Europe."
The book examined documentary evidence from the Vatican archives arguing that Pope Pius X! played a significant role in supporting the rise of Fascism and Benito Mussolini in Italy.
We will also be holding a special reception for WACRI members where they can meet Dr. Kertzer and hear about his latest projects.
Social our begins at 6:00pm. Members are invited to attend a reception with Dr. Kertzer at 6:00pm. A dinner buffet begins at 6:45, with the main presentation commencing at 7:30pm. The evening ends by 9:00 pm.
