Ambassador Khan is a distinguished Pakistan Foreign Service Officer, with a career spanning over 30 years, that include serving as Pakistan's Ambassador to Japan and Director General (United Nations) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dr. Khan also has a doctorate in International Economic and Business Law (LL.D.) from Kyushu University Japan.
