Ambassador Asad Majeed Khan will present a short history and current overview of U.S.-Pakistani relations in the context of South Asia. The talk will cover Geo-political, economic and cultural aspects of these important countries and their impact on the world prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic. U.S.-Pakistani relations is complex with important historical benchmarks since Pakistan's establishment in 1947. You won't want to miss this important talk on global affairs in a critical region of the world.


Ambassador Khan is a distinguished Pakistan Foreign Service Officer, with a career spanning over 30 years, that include serving as Pakistan's Ambassador to Japan and Director General (United Nations) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
