“The Ukraine We Know”
Dr. Carolyn Fluehr Wolsonovich Lobban, who grew up in a Ukrainian family, will expound on Ukrainian Cultural Groups, that focus on language, folklore, and Ukrainian dance. As a proud Ukrainian, she will share the details of her family, her life, and the great adventures they shared, including a memorable trip back to the natal villages of her parents.
Being the Montessori leadership coach and coordinator of the Ukrainian American Montessori Project since 1994, Ginny Cusack, MA, AMI, will present how this educational method became prominent in Ukraine. She will also share her personal experiences with the people she works with and the Ukrainian family ties she maintains today.
The evening promises lively discussion and great food.
