Omar Bah is the founder and executive director of the Refugee Dream Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
A former journalist in The Gambia, Bah was arrested and forced into exile for speaking out against the government of former Gambian president Yahya Jammeh.
Himself a refugee, and grateful for the second life given him in the United States, Omar is now dedicated to helping others who have passed through the same journey as he.
Join us for a discussion on the global refugee crisis!
