The State of the African Continent

with John Fobanjong

Dr. John Fobanjong is Professor of Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He teaches courses in American Government, Public Administration, Civil Rights, and International Relations. Dr. Fobanjong is the author of several scholarly works, including Understanding the Backlash Against Affirmative Action and Political Perspectives: Essays in Government and Politics.

He won a United States Fulbright Fellowship in 2009, and in 2015 he was appointed by the U.S. State Department’s Speakers’ Bureau to give a keynote address at the 30th anniversary celebration of the independence of Cape Verde. He remains listed on the State Department’s Speakers’ Bureau as one of the go-to speakers for U.S. Government speaking engagements on Africa.
